Course Summary

Computer vision is the process of extracting meaning from pixels and performing visual tasks similar to what our eyes, our visual system, would. Interest in how machines ‘see’ and how computer vision can be used to build products for consumers and businesses and interest from businesses in this area is growing rapidly.

This course developed by the University of Strathclyde in collaboration with CENSIS, Scotland’s innovation centre for sensing, imaging and internet of things technologies, will introduce you to the concepts of computer vision and will demonstrate benefits and potential applications.
