It covers proper posture in conditions such as prolonged standing or driving work, and also offers a unit on key exercises that can be performed when taking breaks throughout the day.

Learning objectives

  • Demonstrate proper manual handling techniques, such as lifting, carrying, and setting down, among others
  • Describe proper posture for standing work and for driving tasks
  • Identify key exercises that can help workers stay healthy on their shifts

This course was created to offer easily-accessible video demonstrations of manual handling techniques (as well as some exercises) for onsite workers.
